The Art of Rodney Tuttle

“Sink, Myrtle St., October 1985”

Another improvisational still-life, literally found the next morning following a Halloween party. The plastic hand and plastic snake that were props the night before, and had traveled all over the house in various poses and configurations, had finally found a resting place. The water reflections on the back of the sink bathed in shadow are essentially what prompted this frame. Those caught my eye, after that I saw the washbowl and went for the camera.
